Goals The aim of this course is to examine the fundamental concepts of onomastics, analyze the grammatical and semantic properties of names, explain the structure and functions of names, and equip students with critical thinking skills in the field of onomastics.
Course Content History of onomastic in Turkish, studies in this field, science of personal names, science of place names, terms, examination of written texts in different periods and fields of Turkish in terms of names.
