Goals The aims of this course are: to introduce the basic concepts of grammar, to make people understand the phonetic, shape and semantics of Turkish, its features in terms of syntax, to discuss the place of grammar in Turkish programs, to examine the situation of grammar acquisitions in secondary school programs, to introduce the ways of implication, the sound, shape, meaning and syntax of Turkish. To reinforce the basic features in terms of teaching grammar, to make people understand the purpose of grammar teaching and grammar teaching, to recognize grammar teaching models and approaches in Turkish Course Programs and to apply them in practice. to reinforce, to know the grammar gains, subjects, methods and techniques in the Turkish Curriculum, and to develop activities for text-centered grammar teaching practices.
Course Content Content of this course: Basic concepts of grammar; Distinctive features of Turkish in terms of sound, form, meaning and syntax; grammar teaching and its purpose; Evaluation of Turkish Course Curriculums in terms of grammar teaching models and approaches; Grammar gains included in the Turkish Lesson Curriculum; Topics included in grammar teaching and the order to be followed in teaching them; It consists of methods and techniques, activity examples and text-centered grammar teaching practices.

1 Students get to know grammar teaching models and approaches in Turkish Lesson Programs and reinforce them in practice.
