Goals Make students comprehend the historical development and features of the Old Turkish Literature, introduce famous writer and poets with their productions, and introduce theirs era via prose and verse.
Course Content Review studies about selected texts of 15th and 16th century Turkish Literature. Studies related to sense of era’s language, status of the society, worldview. Basic features of divan literture, its main types and most known representatives.
