Goals Goal of the course is to teach pre-service teacher how to use information and communication technologies (ICT) at a basic level and make them knowledgeable about developments in ICT.
Course Content ICT and computational thinking; problem solving concepts and approaches; algorithm and flow charts; computer systems; basic concepts about software and hardware; foundations of operating systems; current operating systems; file management; third party software; word processing; spreadsheet software; presentation software; desktop publishing; database management systems; web design; use of internet in education; communication and collaboration technologies; safe internet use; cyber ethics and copyright issues; impact of computers and internet on children and youth.
