Goals The primary aim of this course is to provide pre-service primary education teachers with the opportunity to observe their field-specific educational and instructional processes on-site and to actively participate in these processes. Accordingly, it is aimed that the candidates gain professional experience by developing their skills in lesson planning, implementing instructional activities in the classroom environment, and evaluating the process based on pedagogical criteria.
Course Content The content of this course encompasses the processes of determining daily educational and instructional tasks in a school environment, preparing daily lesson plans (including the design of the learning environment, instructional materials, and assessment tools), and implementing and evaluating these plans in person. Furthermore, the management of undesirable classroom behaviors, the preparation of self-evaluation reports regarding the implementation processes, and the creation of a comprehensive professional development portfolio constitute the fundamental stages of this course.
