Goals This course aims to enable prospective classroom teachers to teach religious and moral values at the primary school level in accordance with students’ developmental characteristics, using pedagogically grounded and effective methods.
Course Content This course covers the fundamental concepts of religious education, Islam and other religions, the principles of Islamic belief and worship, ethics and moral education in Islam, religious and moral development during the elementary education period, core life values, the teaching of prayers and surahs, and the life of Prophet Muhammad. Within the framework of the 4th-grade Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge curriculum, planning, teaching methods and techniques, classroom applications, sample presentations, assessment, and evaluation processes are also examined.
