Goals To have basic knowledge and understanding of basic concepts in measurement and evaluation and competencies in development of measurement instruments for classrooms.
Course Content Fundamentalconcepts of measurementandevaluation. Status of evaluation in educationsystem, purposes of evaluation, types of evaluation. Essentialcharacteristics of measurementinstruments. Traditionalmeasurementinstruments, complementarymeasurementandevaluationapproaches, measurement of cognitive, affectiveandpsychomotorskillsanditsdifficulties. Statistical calculations on measurementresults, evaluationandgrading.

5 Explore the process of developing reliable, field-specific measurement tools
6 It selects the appropriate measuring instrument for its field-specific operations.
7 Calculates test and item statistics using the scores obtained from the measurement tools.
8 Correct interpretation of statistical analysis on measurement results.
9 Evaluates the results obtained from measurement tools with appropriate evaluation methods.
