Goals The aim of this course is to gain the importance of children's literature in terms of child development, types of children's literature, to examine and research the works of Turkish literature for children.
Course Content Illustrated children's books; basic features of children's books; criteria for examining and evaluating children's books; fantastic works; biography, narrative and informative texts; serial books; children's magazines and the development of world children's literature; digital children's literature products; the relationship between children's literature products and artificial intelligence; the development of world children's literature; applications of using children's literature works in the classroom; narrative and informative text processing process.

1 You will be able to recognize the fundamental characteristics of children's literature and explain its contributions to child development.
2 You will be able to identify the genres and key authors of children's literature and effectively use these works in educational processes.
3 You will gain the ability to select and evaluate appropriate literary works for children.
