Goals To ensure that they love Turkish and use it correctly and effectively, To develop their mental skills such as understanding, sorting, classifying, questioning, establishing relationships, criticizing, predicting, analyzing-synthesizing and evaluating in accordance with their mental development.
Course Content Contemporary methods and techniques that can be used in teaching Turkish; reading, writing, listening, speaking, visual reading and presentation; development of comprehension skills; diagnosis and elimination of reading difficulties; structure of reading texts; teaching informative and narrative texts; intertextual reading and writing; making meaning from texts, questions and types of texts; development of critical thinking through reading and writing; main idea teaching and methods; aims, types and rules of reading; evaluation of reading, writing, listening, speaking and comprehension; examination of the primary Turkish program, its relationship with other courses, sample activity applications related to the program.
