Goals Placement Approaches in Special Education: Together and separate education; Description of integration; The concept of the least restrictive education environment, history, legal basis and types; Supporting Special Education Services: Consultancy, Incoming Class-Support and Resource Chamber; Cooperation in integration: Definition, importance and types; Integration process in Turkey: Increase in the past and today; Integration in legal regulations related to special education in Turkey; Factors affecting the success of integration; Research on integration.
Course Content Comprehension of the difference between different forms of inclusion; Understanding the selection and placement process for special education; Comprehending the educational needs of children in different disability groups; To evaluate and change the attitudes of other students in the classroom against disabled people; To adapt the curriculum and teaching techniques for children with disabilities in the classroom.
