Goals Produce ICT based teaching materials.
Course Content Basic concepts related to special education and technology; The importance of the use of technology in education and special education; Technology -supported applications for academic and non -academic skills in students who need different special education; The use of different technological tools (eg smart board, desktop, laptop, tablet, smartphone) in special education; Samples of technological tools such as smart board, desktop, laptop, tablet, smartphone to technology -supported teaching examples; Alternative and supportive technology applications that require low and high technology.

1 Students learn the basic concepts of technology in special education and explore how to apply these concepts in educational settings.
2 Students recognize technological applications for individuals with different types of special needs and develop skills to use them according to specific needs.
3 Students gain knowledge about appropriate assistive technologies for individuals with special needs and learn how to integrate them into the learning process.
4 Students design and create ICT-based instructional materials, thereby experiencing how technology can be adapted to the teaching process.
5 Students learn the importance and benefits of using technology in special education and gain the ability to use it effectively in educational processes.
6 Students learn the principles of universal design for learning and apply them in special education to develop strategies that ensure equal educational opportunities for all students.
7 Students gain knowledge about suitable assistive technologies for different disability groups and use them to create individualized education plans.
8 Students learn methods to enhance the academic and social skills of students with special needs through the use of technology.
9 Students implement teaching strategies that increase the independence of students with special needs by using technological tools effectively.
10 Students develop awareness of the ethical use of technology-assisted applications in special education and student safety responsibilities, considering them in the educational process.
