Goals In this course, it is aimed to gain necessary knowledge about defining children's rights and child protection laws, taking measures against child neglect and abuse, taking measures to protect the rights of children with special needs, and cooperating on the rights and protection of children.
Course Content The concept of child protection, the subject and characteristics of child law, the concept of children's rights, the historical development of children's rights in world law, children's rights in international agreements, the basic principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, The child and its legal situation in the Turkish Legal System, the protection of the child in public law, private child law, social assistance and security, the handling of the child in education and labor law, the duties of psychological counselors to protect children's rights, the roles and functions of psychological counselors regarding children whose legal process is ongoing. .
