Goals The purpose of this course is provide students with the skills to apply and evaluate tests and non-test techniques on individuals; and upon individual interviews to evaluate the results of interest, ability and value related tests through the instruction methods used in vocational guidance and psychological counseling.
Course Content ? Designation of the school of practice. ? Interviews with the psychological counselor of the school of practice. ? The planning of the practices to be carried out at the designated school. ? The performance of the tasks such as preliminary reading on the practices to be carried out and preparation of the material to be used. ? The execution of seven different practices on vocational guidance and counseling. ? Reporting the executed practices.

1 Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: ? Comprehend the instruction methods which may be used in vocational guidance and psychological counseling.
2 Recognize the principal tests used in vocational guidance and psychological counseling.
3 Apply and evaluate the principal tests used in vocational guidance and psychological counseling.
4 Apply the non-test techniques used in vocational guidance and psychological counseling.
5 Act as the group guidance counselor on vocational counseling matters.
6 Hold vocational guidance/interview sessions with students on matters such as the selection of vocation.
