Goals To teach researchers the responsibilities they carry while conducting scientific research and presenting or publishing research results. To teach the principles of scientific ethics. To emphasize the concept of ethics and ethical theories, research ethics and publication ethics, unethical behaviors. To provide information and awareness about the most common research and publication ethics violations and methods to prevent them, and the paths to be followed in case of a violation. To teach scientific research systematics. To introduce research techniques and to understand the methods of accessing scientific resources.
Course Content Information about Postgraduate Education Processes; Scientific ethical principles; General principles and functioning of ethics committees of institutions such as universities, TUBITAK and YÖK etc.; R&D projects; scientific research techniques; literature review logic and procedures; examination of scientific articles and rapid access to information; presentation and publication processes of scientific information.
