Goals The aim of this course is to provide basic first aid knowledge and to teach correct and effective intervention methods in emergency situations, as well as to develop knowledge and practical skills regarding the assessment of patients or casualties, basic life support, and first aid techniques for bleeding, injuries, fractures, poisonings, and other emergencies. In addition, the course aims to raise students' awareness of patient or casualty carrying techniques and to ensure safe practices in first aid applications.
Course Content 1-Explains the basic concepts of first aid and the importance of first aid. 2-Applies the process of assessing the patient or casualty and the accident scene. 3-Correctly applies the steps of basic life support. 4-Performs first aid interventions for situations such as bleeding, injuries, burns, fractures, dislocations, and sprains. 5-Explains and applies first aid methods in cases of consciousness disorders, poisonings, and animal bites. 6-Applies first aid interventions in cases where foreign objects enter the eye, ear, or nose. 7-Explains and applies patient or casualty carrying techniques and stretcher use methods. 8-Develops the ability to perform safe, accurate, and rapid first aid applications in emergency situations
