Goals The aim of this course is to teach the basic concepts of labor law and social security law, to explain the legal regulations regarding the establishment, continuation, and termination of employment contracts, and to provide knowledge about working and rest periods, trade union rights, collective bargaining agreements, and strike and lockout processes. In addition, the course aims to ensure that students acquire basic legal knowledge regarding worker-employer relations and social security rights and obligations, and are able to interpret this knowledge in practice.
Course Content 1-Explains the basic concepts of labor law and social security law. 2-Evaluates the processes of establishing, maintaining, and terminating employment contracts from a legal perspective. 3-Explains the legal regulations regarding working hours, rest rights, and leaves. 4-Explains the establishment, operation, and activities of trade unions and confederations within a legal framework. 5-Interprets collective bargaining agreements, collective labor disputes, and strike and lockout processes. 6-Possesses basic knowledge about employees' social security rights and obligations. 7-Evaluates legal regulations related to worker-employer relations through practical applications.
