Goals To learn the welding defects occurring in the weld zone of welded joints, their causes, and inspection methods.
Course Content 1. Knows welding errors. 2. Learns and applies welding inspection methods
Learning Outcomes
# Öğrenme Kazanımı
1 Knows welding errors.
2 Learns and applies welding inspection methods
3 Explains residual stresses and distortions (warping) occurring in welded manufacturing, and identifies methods to prevent and control these effects.
4 Analyzes destructive and non-destructive test results to evaluate the mechanical properties of welded joints (such as strength, toughness, hardness, and fatigue) and their overall quality level.
