Goals Welding construction and design are among the most important factors that determine welding safety and life safety. Within the scope of the course, associate degree students; training will be given on structural systems, strength and design fundamentals, behavior of welded parts under constant / dynamic load. Students will be given theoretical and computational information and will be given the ability to prepare welded designs and take necessary precautions.
Course Content Course Learning Outcomes 1. By calculating the strength for different weld joints, it can calculate the stress that the welded joint can withstand and the appropriate weld thickness. 2. In terms of residual stress and distortion, it is proficient in taking necessary precautions in welded jointing. 3. Determine the design requirements of welded construction under constant load or dynamic load. 4. Has a good command of the competition principles of welded joints in pressure constructions.
