Goals Based on the concepts and knowledge of engineering materials, it is aimed to introduce material selection criteria and to teach how to create the necessary criteria for special applications.
Course Content 1. Can classify materials, knows their advantages and shortcomings. 2. Knows and applies material selection criteria. 3. Selects the appropriate material for a specific engineering application, taking into account the operating conditions. 4. Knows the necessary cost-reducing measures for the selected material until the final product.
