| Goals | Based on the concepts and knowledge of engineering materials, it is aimed to introduce material selection criteria and to teach how to create the necessary criteria for special applications. |

Selects the appropriate material for a specific engineering application, taking into account the operating conditions. 4. Knows the necessary cost-reducing measures for the selected material until the final product. |
