| 1 | - (Reading) Students must possess the basic reading-comprehension skills, be able to read simple texts, highlight their basic ideas, be familiar with the notion of the paragraph and recognize basic English styles (registers); |
| 2 | - (Writing) Students must be able to write short dialogues on a given topic and descriptions about physical appearances/environment and daily life and be familiar with the basic rules of spelling and punctuation; |
| 3 | Listening) Students must possess the basic listening-comprehension skills, basic phrases/words and grammatical patterns, be able to fill in the charts following the instructions of the text-book (listening for main ideas, listening for details, etc.); |
