Goals Aim of this course is to educate students about Computer Networks Classification, Fundamentals of Data Communications, Data Communication Media,Data Communication Protocols, Network Topology,Protocol concepts, OSI reference model, Internet concepts, Internet Protocol and architecture, TCP, ICMP protocols, Domain Name System, File Transfer Protocol
Course Content History of computer networks, basic principles, communication protocol structure and functions, protocol layers and their relationships, OSI and TCP/IP architectural structures, Network design
