Goals To teach Turkish spelling rules, to teach the appropriate use of punctuation marks in Turkish texts, to teach the structure and functioning features of Turkish, to teach written and oral expression types, to develop Turkish oral and written communication skills, to make people understand the diversity and richness of meaning of Turkish.
Course Content Spelling rules, punctuation marks, semantics, sentence knowledge, structure knowledge, types of oral and written expression (petition writing, bibliography writing, CV preparation, report, etc.)

1 Knows the definition of language, understands the place and importance of language as a social institution in the life of the nation, and realizes the connection between language-culture and language-thought.
2 Learns the place of the Turkish language among world languages, realizes the richness and subtleties of the Turkish language.
3 Knows the historical development of the Turkish language.
4 Knows the current state of the Turkish language, its contemporary dialects and areas of expansion.
