Goals This course aims to teach the structure of Turkish public administration, central and local government institutions, regulatory and supervisory bodies, the functioning of public administration, the oversight of public administration, bureaucracy, and the structure, function, and reform dimensions of the state's administrative organization in Türkiye. Within the scope of this course, students will learn about the historical development, organizational structure, and functions of public administration, gaining basic knowledge about central and local institutions, bureaucracy, oversight, and ethical principles.
Course Content Learns the fundamentals of public administration. Understands public administration theory and practice. Can distinguish the organizational components of Turkish public administration. Understands the administrative organizational structure of Türkiye. Recognizes the functions of central and local government. Knows the general characteristics and constitutional principles of the Turkish administrative structure. Understands the principles of oversight and ethical principles in Turkish administration.
