1 Understand the characteristics of architectural structures, which influenced the Archaic architecture, dating to earlier period
2 Improve their architectural terminology.
3 Learn the structures of archaic period in Anatolia, Greece and Italy and thus to be able to make comments on archaeological materials.
4 Do research in library and on internet.
