Goals This course aims to introduce the main macroeconomic indicators and the principles of national income accounting. It explains key macroeconomic concepts such as inflation, unemployment, and aggregate economic models, while also analyzing the roles and mechanisms of fiscal and monetary policy tools. In addition, the course evaluates major macroeconomic debates and examines stabilization policies used by governments to maintain economic stability.
Course Content This course introduces the basic concepts of macroeconomics and key economic indicators such as GDP, inflation, and unemployment. It examines aggregate demand and supply, business cycles, and labor markets, and analyzes the roles of fiscal and monetary policies in stabilizing the economy. The course also discusses the financial system, exchange rates, and open economy dynamics.
