| Goals | To understand societies according to time and culture, to explain social phenomena, to determine similarities and differences between societies, to explain the changes and transformations of societies in the historical development process, to make predictions about the changes in existing social structures. |
| Course Content | This course examines the subject, method, history and basic concepts of sociology and the relationship of sociology with other social sciences. The founders of modern sociology and basic sociological approaches are explained. |
