| Course Content | Atomic bond structures, Crystal structures, Crystal structure defects, Mechanical properties, Phase diagrams, Kinetics of transformations and Heat treatments, Metals and their alloys, Polymers, Semiconductor Materials Iron-carbon (Fe-C) balance diagrams, Non-ferrous metals, Forming and heat treatments Definition and classification of materials, properties of materials, determination of properties of materials and equipments which are important in the installation and use of energy production systems, material selection. |
