Goals This course aims to provide an in-depth teaching of the values and standards that guide professional practice in psychology, including codes of conduct and philosophical ethical principles. Topics include confidentiality, informed consent, competence, professional boundaries, integrity, cultural sensitivity. In this context, examples of ethical violations are also discussed.
Course Content Within the scope of this course, the basics of ethical behavior for psychologists, decision-making methods in the face of ethical problems, professional boundaries and ethics, confidentiality issues, ethical issues in the scientific research process, and special issues in the psychotherapy process will be discussed.
