Goals The aim of this course is to inform students about the nature and causes of individual behavior in social situations. In addition, defining the factors that shape individuals' emotions, thoughts, attitude and behaviors in social situations is among the course's objectives.
Course Content The course will cover what social psychology is, methods in social psychology, social influence and compliance, social cognition, cognitive dissonance theories, attitudes, theoretical approaches to attitude change, communication, propaganda and persuasion, socialization, aggression and prosocial behavior.

1 Knows the basic subjects and research methods of social psychology.
2 Explains the theoretical approaches related to social perception and social cognition, attitudes and attitude change.
3 Relates the theoretical knowledge and concepts of social psychology to daily life phenomena such as interpersonal and group relations.
4 Recognizes the psychological processes that affect social behavior.
5 Define and exemplify cognitive dissonance
6 Explains the elements of effective communication and persuasion processes.
