Goals The aim of this course is to enable students to acquire the skills to use information and communication technologies effectively, consciously, and ethically in academic research, scientific writing, and professional practice. The course covers digital literacy, academic databases, cloud-based collaboration tools, office programs, SPSS, and artificial intelligence-supported tools, as well as information law and academic ethics.
Course Content Professional concepts and practices, computer hardware and basic software knowledge, internet technologies, social media usage, e-government and e-learning systems, academic research methods, literature review techniques, academic writing rules, preparing academic documents with office programs, data analysis processes, and SPSS applications constitute the core content of the course. In addition, information law, digital ethics, artificial intelligence, and the use of current information technologies in academic and professional work are also covered within the scope of the course.
