Goals To teach students the basic concepts of philosophy, reading philosophy texts, and learning about language.
Course Content What is philosophy? How can we distinguish philosophy from science, art, and religion? What is ontology? What is epistemology? What is ethics? Is philosophy necessary? Examples of Socrates, Descartes, Nietzsche.
