Goals It is aimed to guide students to learn the topics of Management Science and organization theory and to discuss the historical background of Management Science in terms of concepts, processes and applications.
Course Content In this course, topics of Management Science and organization theory, concepts of these topics, historical background, processes and applications are discussed. In this context, management, manager, organization and other basic concepts are covered. Of these concepts was clear after the lattice of the structure, organization and Management Science, Taylorism and scientific method, organizational theory, management functions (planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, controlling, bureaucratic, and neo-classical organization theory, systems approach, contingency approach will be examined. Finally, Japanese management practices against the Western form of management and Z theory in management, approaches to excellence in management, how the course of organization and management concepts will be expressed.
