Goals Defining basic concepts related to urbanization and environmental problems; Explaining the development of urbanization and environmental problems in the world; The city in Turkey, explaining the historical background of urbanization and environmental issues and legislation; Discussion of the problems and solution suggestions related to the subject; It is the evaluation of what urban and environmental problems are and their emergence processes, and the examination and presentation of urban-environmental policies in this field.
Course Content In this course, environmental issues will be addressed from an economic, administrative, political and legal perspective. Content of the course is the definition of basic concepts related to urbanization and environmental problems, explanation of the development of urbanization and environmental problems in the world, the historical development of environmental issues, city and urbanization, explanation of legislation, identification of legal instruments for the solutions in Turkey.
