Goals • To teach the fundamental principles of administrative law, a branch of public law dealing with the organization, functioning, activities, and supervision of the executive branch. • To enable students to understand the principle that the administration must act in conformity with the law. • To provide knowledge about the powers, procedures, and responsibilities of public authorities. • To familiarize students with the rights of individuals vis-à-vis the administration and the legal remedies available to protect these rights.

Learning Outcomes
# Öğrenme Kazanımı
1 Knowledge: • Define the administrative organization and the theory of administrative acts in Turkey. • Demonstrate knowledge about the powers, acts, contracts, and liability of the administration. • Explain the administrative judicial system and remedies against administrative acts. • Analyze the supervision of the administration within the framework of the Constitution, statutes, and case law. • Comprehend fundamental principles such as the rule of law in administration and the principle of public interest.
2 Skills: • Analyze the legality of administrative acts. • Solve case studies concerning real-life administrative actions. • Evaluate the litigation process against administrative authorities with legal reasoning. • Apply concepts such as abuse of power and discretionary authority in practice
3 Competences: • Independently analyze and propose solutions to problems in administrative law; develop strategies on how to act against administrative acts. • Keep legal knowledge updated by following recent developments and high court rulings in administrative law. • Express administrative law issues effectively in written and oral form; contribute to dispute resolution processes within teamwork settings. • Recognize and use constitutional and judicial mechanisms to protect individual rights against the administration; develop a critical perspective on public administration using administrative law principles.
