Goals The aim of this course is to teach the basic concepts of public finance, the economic and financial functions of the state, the structure of public revenues and expenditures, budget processes, and the effects of fiscal policies on the economy. Students are expected to understand the role of the public sector in the economy, analyze fiscal policies implemented in Turkey and around the world, and develop a critical perspective on current fiscal issues.
