Goals The purpose of this course, students will gain sufficient knowledge and skills of old age
Course Content The aging process, emerging issues related to aging and theoretical knowledge about the solution of these problems and evaluate the lessons include the principles of care in elderly individuals.

1 Identify the important phsical and mental health problems of aging and their effects on the functioning of older people and their families.
2 Describe the significance of preventive health care and health promotion for the elderly.
3 Discuss the physiologic aspects of aging that occur as a result of both normal and pathologic changes.
4 Describe the aging population based on demographic trends and statistical data.
5 Develop a definition of aging based on theories of aging.
