Goals This course educates knowledge and practice on the public health nurse’s basic roles and responsibilities about different groups of community Te objective of course to educate knowledge and in to the practice about the nurse’s services to individual, family and community by the philosophy of primary care services for protection, promotion and treatment of health.
Course Content In the course content; public health / public health nursing, organization of health services, registration systems used in primary care, community identification, family health nursing, health promotion, nursing process, home visits, public health nurse family recognition process (case management) counseling, community communication, health education, guidance and counseling early diagnosis and screening, environmental health intercultural nursing, health education practice, school health nursing, health promotion, discussion of community recognition data occupational health nursing, role and functions of public health nurse in risky groups in society role and functions of public health nurse in infectious diseases community mental health nursing, age periods (student presentations), 0-12 months baby follow-up, 1-6 years child follow-up, 7-12 years school-age follow-up, 13-24 years san, 25–64 age adult male follow-up, 25-64 age adult female follow-up, 65-year-old elderly follow-up, the role and functions of public health nurse in elderly health / old age role and responsibilities of public health nurse in the management of chronic diseases and nursing in unusual situations home care is included.
