Goals This programe is to aims, provide to student, improving the skill of moral making-decision, Understanding the historical development of nursing, taking information about law and regulation of nursing and patients’ rights, social features of nursing and its status.
Course Content The importance of nursing ethics Human Rights, Health Rights, Patient Rights, and Current Laws and Regulations Ethics and releated Ethics Concepts Applied Ethics, Bioethics, Nursing Ethics Ethical dilemmas and decision making process Ethical Theories Midterm Exam Medical errors in nursing Problems related to the Beginning of Life (Assisted reproductive techniques, abortion, etc.) Ethical problems related to the end of life (euthanasia etc.) Advanced technology and related ethical issues (organ transplantation, stem cells, etc.) Common ethical problems and decision making process in nursing practice
