Goals Internal medicine and public health requirements in accordance with the basic information about the development of healthy / sick individual, family and community health, development, treatment and rehabilitation of contemporary role in the adoption and implementation of the functions.

1 Defines the fundamental concepts, theories, and health-illness models related to internal medicine nursing.
2 It analyzes the physiological responses and disease symptoms of the organism in clinical conditions that disrupt homeostasis.
3 It demonstrates a professional nursing approach in light of the structural and sociocultural characteristics and value judgments of the community served.
4 It explains the health problems in society caused by internal diseases and the principles of primary and secondary prevention for these problems.
5 By evaluating the health behaviors of individuals, families, and the community, they identify and plan for care needs.
6 Internal medicine nursing performs its roles and functions in a manner consistent with the processes of healthcare systems.
7 Within the scope of internal medicine, it explains the etiology and pathophysiology of diseases affecting all body systems.
8 They systematically use their knowledge of body system diseases to meet the care needs of the patient.
9 In the care of patients in emergency and critical situations, they make clinical decisions in accordance with the nursing process.
