Goals The main issues of genetics, to learn the basic concepts and the basic principles of heredity
Course Content Definition and scope of genetics, the functions of genetic material, mitosis, meiosis, Mendel’s laws, probability computations and statistical analysis in genetics, the factors deviated from Mendel rules, multiple alleles, sex determination and sex-linked inheritance, linkage and crossing over, mutations
