Goals Will be given generall information about systematics, biology and control methods of mites, nematods, molluscs which damage fruits and grapevines. The orders and families of important pests and beneficial insects of fruit and grape production will be studied. Idenitification, biology, shape of damage and control of the pest of some fruits, In the order of their economical importance; citrus, olive, pome fruits, grape like fruits, pomegranate, banana and fig, will be studied.The topics will learned in a manner related to intagrated pest management.
Course Content Generall information about systematics, biology and control methods of mites, nematods, molluscs which damage fruits and grapevines, orders and families of important pests and beneficial insects of fruit and grape, Idenitification, biology, shape of damage and control of the pest of some fruits, economical importance citrus, olive, pome fruits, grape like fruits, pomegranate, banana and fig.
