Goals The aim of this course is to help students gain the ability to make original contributions to cinema studies by using the studies of cinema history, film theories, genres and movements in cinema, narrative types and cinema semiotics together.
Course Content The content of this course is quite broad. As follows; History of Cinema, Major Film Theories, Genres and Movements in Cinema, Narrative Types and Cinema Semiotics Studies and to provide students with the ability to achieve the structure solution of Cinema Art with original studies in coordination with all these fields, to provide them with intensive reading, film watching, discussion and access to original theses.
