Goals This course aims to provide doctoral students with a review of literature on film studies and related social debates.
Course Content The concepts, intellectual foundations and sources of theories that have historically shaped cinema studies, and the fundamental texts of thinkers are within the scope of this course. One of the scopes of the course is to discuss the social, economic and cultural paradigms that have emerged historically in the context of cinema and the relationships between these fundamental texts and the social conditions in which they take place.
