| Goals | To inform the student about the environment that prepared the emergence of the history of religions as a science, the differences that distinguish it from other disciplines, and the great religious traditions in the world. |
| Course Content | religious studies before the nineteenth century; the emergence of the history of religions as an independent research field; Theoretical developments in research on the history of religions and the effects of changes in the perception of science on them and religions in the world today. |
