Goals Understanding communication and communication over computer networks over the seven-layer OSI Network Reference Model, LAN and WAN protocols, Ethernet as the most common LAN technology in the world with IEEE 802.2 and 802.3 standards, TCP/IP protocol, which is the most widely used in local networks in the world and the basis of the internet, and teaching planning issues in local networks with examples.
Course Content Basics of communication over computer networks, understanding the layers that make up the OSI network reference model, IPV4 addressing, ethernet and network cabling technologies and basic network devices and protocols and examples of them.
