Goals • The main aim of the course is to enable the use of computer systems at a basic level. • To be able to recognize the necessary concepts for current informatics issues and to follow the innovations, • Enabling students to use the computer more effectively by providing basic computer subjects and applications, • To be able to distinguish original and domestic designs in informatics. • Ensuring the acquisition of competencies in line with the objectives of the department
Course Content It covers basic computer knowledge, informatics terms, computer networks, operating systems, office package software (word processor, spreadsheets, presentation and database), addiction to internet and social media.

1 The student will be able to learn the use of computer systems and basic computer concepts.
2 The student will be able to comprehend the concepts and types of software/hardware, which are computer components.
3 The student will be able to learn the concept of operating systems and will be able to install and effectively use an operating system.

5 The student will be able to use the internet effectively as a means of finding, sharing and communicating information.
6 Students will be able to use office software effectively.
