Goals To gain the ability to apply technical drawing equipment with basic drawings, to obtain views from three-dimensional images, to measure views, to draw sectional views, to draw manufacturing and assembly drawings of machine parts, to make machine designs, to read drawn images and to gain the knowledge and skills to use the computer effectively in these activities.
Course Content Introduction to basic drawings, drawing views, dimensioning, drawing section views, introduction to computer aided technical drawing, industrial importance, meanings of line types, projection principles, views, section views, perspective pictures, creating basic two-dimensional drawings, drawing connecting elements, dimensioning, assembling parts by combining them.
