Goals | The main purpose of this course is to make students identify theories as methods of questioning how meaning is generated in the reading process, but not as stereotypical approaches. |
Course Content | The course focuses on poststructuralism, structuralism, postmodernism, feminism and gender theories, theories of race, origin and nationalism, post-colonialism theory, new historicalism, ecocriticism, cultural theories and transhumanism. |
