Goals To teach students the history of the Republic of Turkey.
Course Content Removal of internal and external developments in the establishment process of the Republic of Turkey, Tedrisat abolition of the Caliphate and the unification of law, responses to the revolution, Sheik Sait revolt Izmir assassination, Transition to multi-party Progressive Republican Party, Free Republican Party, Ataturk's reforms and Principles, Domestic and Foreign Policy in Turkey during World War II Causes and consequences of multi-party political life, Internal and external political developments in the period 1945-1960, from 1960 to the present domestic and foreign policy and the implications of these events today
