Goals The aim of this course is to enable students to solve the decision making problems they encounter in linear goal programming, linear objective linear constrained integer programming and network models.
Course Content Techniques for linear goal programming, simplex method for linear goal programming, linear integer programming, linear binary(0-1) programming, linear mixed integer programming models, branch and bound methods for linear integer programming, cutting planes for linear integer programming, network models, shortest path problem, maximum flow problem and solution methods.
Learning Outcomes - To provide the mathematical solution to the problems encountered in the production and service sectors.
